neffy® is a NEW epinephrine nasal spray for patients weighing 30 kg or more for the emergency treatment of severe allergic reactions including anaphylaxis and is now authorized in Canada.

What is neffy®?
neffy® is used in adults and children with a body weight of 30 kg or more for the emergency treatment of allergic reactions, including anaphylaxis (sudden, severe and sometimes life-threatening allergic reactions), to insect stings or bites, foods, medicines and other allergens (substances that cause an allergy) as well as anaphylaxis caused by exercise.
neffy® is intended for immediate self-administration by a person (or given to a person by a caregiver or medical professional) with a history or recognised risk of a severe allergic reaction that can lead to anaphylactic shock.
neffy® contains epinephrine, the recommended emergency treatment for anaphylaxis, and is a new needle-free device.
neffy® is a small-size epinephrine device authorized in Canada*
*neffy® measures 5.7 cm x 4.4 cm x 1.9 cm.
neffy® has a shelf life of up to 2.5 years‡
Store at room temperature (15°C to 30°C). If neffy® freezes, thaw for at least one hour before use.†^
†If accidentally frozen, the nasal spray device will not work. Do not use if the contents are still frozen or not completely thawed.

How does neffy® work?
neffy® works directly on the cardiovascular (heart and blood circulation) and respiratory (lung) systems to stop the possible fatal effects of a severe allergic reaction that can lead to anaphylactic shock.
